7 days cultural & adventure tour in Romania

Couple looking at the sunset from the top of mount Tampa in Brasov, Romania

Explore one of Europe’s hidden gems with this 7 day tour in Romania. Situated in the Eastern part of the continent, at the border between Europe and the Middle East, it surprises its visitors with astonishingly beautiful nature, architecture and some of the friendliest populations on Earth. Romania is home to the biggest brown bear population in Europe, thanks to its vast forested areas, as well as important species of wild animals including the lynx, wolves, deer and other terrestrial mammals. The main mountain range in Romania, the Carpathians, are the backbone of the country, entering from the Northern part, arching in the middle and going all the way to the Western part, where they end, forming the Apuseni mountains. Transylvania, the so-called Land of Dracula, has therefore a natural border, the mountains, which used to protect its lands from the invaders, hundreds of years ago.

During this 7 day tour in Romania you will discover the highlights of this country: you will go wildlife tracking, bear watching, visit Brasov, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Romania, discover the Szekler and Saxon heritage in Transylvania and end the stay with an adrenaline-pumping via ferrata activity in the spectacular Bicaz Gorge.
