Wildlife Tracking in Romania

Rosalia-Alpina

Today we are in Putna-Vrancea National Park on a wildlife tracking tour, with our guest Daniel. To start with, let’s briefly mention what is a “wildlife tracking tour”. Well, we walk through the forest, following the animals’ tracks, we try to discover as much as possible from the forest and its life. From small insects to big carnivores. Also, we check the sensors-triggered cams, see what animals they recorder lately.

The first insect we met was Rosalia Alpina, or Alpine longhorn beetle, characterized by its long antenas. (The antennas can be twice as long as the body)
