On Saturday, Dana chose another private hiking tour with us – this time in the Ciucas Mountains.
We picked her up from the Brașov train station and drove to Bratocea Pass. We parked our car and start to hike.
The weather is very good, a beautiful autumn day with patches of snow. This is an opportunity for us to take beautiful pictures.
Ciucaș Mountains are well known for strange rocks like the Sphinx, the Dove, Goliath’s Tower.
After few hours of hiking we are on the Ciucas Peak (1954m), took some more photos and descend to Ciucas Peak Chalet.
We passed by „Babele la Sfat” and we arrived at the chalet for the lunch break. In 1.5 hours we are in the parking place near the hut Muntele Rosu (Red Mountain). Our driver is waiting for us and we return to Brasov, happy that we had another beautiful day in the mountains.
